Equip Michigan is May 5th, 6th and 7th at the Rock Lake Christian Assembly Camp located at 7389 Vestaburg Rd, Vestaburg, MI 48891

 

 

 

 

Equip Michigan is a weekend-long comprehensive hands-on training course for Trail Life USA adult leaders focused on Youth Mentorship, Troop Operations, Outdoor Skills and More

 

 

Equip Michigan is focused on the specifics of Troop Operations, providing valuable and practical information that leaders can use in the day to day execution of their local program.  The benefits of the Equip Michigan are not only the training from Skills Instructors, you will get to share and collaborate with other leaders as you camp in patrols.  You will learn and share traditions established across other leaders who participate.  

 

 

Phase One and Two will be conducted 5:30 PM Friday, May 5, 2017 – 11:00 AM Sunday, May 7, 2017

Phase Three will be conducted in a weekend session.

Please register ASAP but no later than April 14, 2017 so we can have materials available.

 

 

What should I bring to Equip?

 

Equip participants will be camping together in patrols.   Patrols will be assigned and leaders will reach out to each patrol.  Each Patrol will set camp together 

 

Participants will be responsible for their own toiletries, towel, comfortable outdoor clothing (Check forecast and pack accordingly), your Trail Life USA lanyard, and flashlight. Please bring a satchel or backpack for carrying your water bottle, notepad, and other personal items from activity to activity. The most important thing to bring to Equip is an open mind and a spirit willing to learn. Participation in Equip64 costs $75 and includes Two Nights Camping,  4 meals,  Resource Materials and Lanyard Pin (but not the lanyard--please make sure to bring your lanyard and membership ID card).
